Senator Marco Rubio is jumping into the Republican presidential political fray, and my first thoughts are: he might be something, there. Early polls indicate so far none of the Republicans who have announced, come anywhere close to the popularity of Hillary Clinton. Marco Rubio, on the other hand has a charisma missing from the others. He’s Cuban-American and that’s a huge plus – something we Democrats could use on our side. He has selected Anna Rogers of American Crossroads to be his finance director. This organization was founded by Karl Rove, a name that might not benefit any new presidential campaign.

Rubio, who sides with the Cuban exile community in Florida against normalized relations with Cuba, is in contrast to Jeb Bush whose wife was born in Mexico and  supports immigration amnesty.- Preston Brady III, Mobile Tribune.
