Two high school students in Roy, Utah were arrested today when authorities discovered they had an elaborate plan to bomb the school and make their get-away by plane. It was reported they had practiced flying using flight simulation and had a fascination with the Columbine shootings that left 13 dead. One of the suspects has not been identified due to his age, 16. He reportedly said he even interviewed the principal of Columbine High School and had plans to make his result more deadly than the Columbine incident. The principal confirmed a visit by the 16 year old. The plot was uncovered thanks to another student who had received numerous text messages including one that ask what she would do if she was advised to stay home from school on a certain day. Additional texts with reference to world destruction also raised suspicion. The 18 year old suspect has been identified as Dallin Morgan.
The incident comes at at time when high schools have increasingly become the target of shooting sprees and mass death plots usually conceived by a student or multiple students.
