ThePostGame.com is reporting that boxing icon Floyd Mayweather used rapper 50 cent to generate a ton of publicity on Super Bowl eve when the city is filled with hundreds of thousands of fans, media and other personalities. They conducted their media operation from a bus and had traffic stopped and backed up in all directions. It's reported that when police tried to stop the upscale horse and pony show they were told to do something that begins with a very common expletive and ends with the word "off."

Imagine if you wanted to promote your web site or some event you were involved and you commandeered and entire downtown city - would you be stopped and immediately arrested? of course not. The police would just stand by and make sure you didn't step over the line and maybe cause a riot, which Mayweather reported almost did when he appeared outside the bus in his "Money Team" jacket holding what appeared to be a wad of money. There is no way police give preference to someone because they are an international superstar, over an everyday person like you or me. If you don't believe me, rent a bus, gather your friends and take-over the nearest downtown with your free publicity show and see what happens. The police will stand back and just hope you don't cause any major problems. Right? Right.
