About the Editor
Preston Brady serves as editor and publisher of Mobile Tribune.
Before launching MobileTribune.com, Brady spent five years as a writer for The Tenderloin Times in San Francisco — a unique quadlingual community newspaper printed in English, Cambodian, Lao, and Vietnamese, and widely regarded as one of the most diverse neighborhood publications in the country.
After returning to Alabama, he contributed articles to Lagniappe, Mobile’s alternative weekly newspaper, covering local culture and community issues.
Brady also produces short-form video journalism through his YouTube channel FlashDocumentaries, creating brief, on-the-ground stories that capture the people and places of Mobile in real time. Preston is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Mobile Tribune is currently an independent, locally operated publication with plans to expand coverage and add additional contributors in the future. As the site grows, our goal is to build a diverse network of writers and voices who reflect the full character of the Mobile Bay community.
